Holding the Moment

Holding the Moment
Connectors often feel most cared for when their partner notices and responds to their emotions with compassion. Sharing emotional space—by staying present through uncomfortable or uncertain moments, rather than rushing to fix, explain, or move past what’s being felt—can signal deep understanding and support.
🔎 When the Connector in your life is feeling low, take the opportunity to sit with them—listening, offering a hug, or simply staying close without trying to smooth it over or move on.

Compassionate Communication

Nonviolent Communication (NVC), also called Compassionate Communication, is a process developed by Marshall Rosenberg in the 1960s. Rosenburg discovered an insightful way of working through the conflict that arises when two individuals have contrasting strategies for having their own needs and values met. His process involves identifying one’s own needs, the needs of others, and the feelings that surround these needs.
