Appreciating the Care Connectors Bring

Appreciating the Heart Connectors Bring
Connectors bring warmth, empathy, and emotional presence into the world around them. They often notice when someone feels left out, discouraged, overwhelmed, or in need of encouragement. Their natural sensitivity helps others feel seen, valued, and remembered.
Connectors remind us that care matters. A kind word, a thoughtful check-in, a heartfelt conversation, or a moment of understanding can make life feel less lonely and more meaningful.
🔎 Where has my care helped someone feel seen, supported, or included? How might others be showing appreciation in their own way, and how can I let myself take it in more fully?

This Mother’s Day, we appreciate the Connectors who nurture belonging, soften hard moments, and help love feel visible.

Compassionate Communication

Nonviolent Communication (NVC), also called Compassionate Communication, is a process developed by Marshall Rosenberg in the 1960s. Rosenburg discovered an insightful way of working through the conflict that arises when two individuals have contrasting strategies for having their own needs and values met. His process involves identifying one’s own needs, the needs of others, and the feelings that surround these needs.
